The clay stayed perfectly workable through my whole first vase, and the carving tool set is far sturdier than the flimsy ones I've used before. I've already got three pinch pots drying on the shelf, and the included instructions made shaping them feel surprisingly intuitive.
I’ve been wanting to try pottery for ages and this kit finally got me to sit down and actually do it. The air-dry clay is super forgiving for a beginner, and having everything in one box meant I could start sculpting a vase right away without hunting for tools.
The clay is so smooth and easy to work with right out of the bag, and I love that the kit comes with carving tools to add texture. I made a small lidded box in my first session and it actually held its shape perfectly while drying.
