We split the kits across two tables and everyone got to make something different, which kept the night from getting repetitive. The pottery clay was much easier to shape than I expected, and the candle pouring took maybe twenty minutes before we were just chatting while they set.
The candle kits came with everything pre-measured and labeled, so we didn’t have to stop mid-date to hunt for supplies. My husband and I did our kit with another couple, and three hours flew by like it was nothing—the pottery part is messier than I expected, but that honestly made the laughs better.
We were a little worried about coordinating two activities, but the kits are laid out so clearly that each couple could work at their own pace.
