I was nervous about making a mess on the kitchen table, but the included carving tools worked way better than the basic ones I've used before, and we actually shaped two decent vases in one sitting. The kit really does have everything, so we didn't have to pause to hunt for anything.
We just finished our first date night with this kit, and the carving tools are surprisingly comfortable to hold for hours. I’m genuinely impressed with how smooth the clay feels to shape, and we both made pinch pots we’re actually proud of.
